Is One-on-One Dog Training a Better Fit?
Specific goals? Individual attention? A custom dog training plan?
Yes. Let’s start with what you want to achieve together.
Training Built Around You and Your Dog
For many pet owners and their dogs, customized or individualized one-on-one training works best.
Every dog is different. Every pet owner is different, and we always want to do what’s best for both.
It Starts With a Phone Consultation
The initial free phone consultation involves gathering information about the dog and assessing and evaluating the goals and objectives for the dog.
What is the end result that the pet owner is trying to achieve?
Upon scheduling an appointment, canine body language video links are emailed to the client for their education prior to the first session.
Your First Training Session
The first session is 60 minutes in length.
This is an opportunity to assess the dog in its environment and put together a detailed, organized, systematic plan to develop the dog and work toward the goals set forth by the pet owner.
Upon completion of the first session, it can be determined whether more sessions are needed based on the results.
These results take into consideration the stability of the dog’s relationship with the pet owner, the dog’s emotional responses, as well as its socialization aptitude and ability to settle and relax.
Follow-Up and Continued Support
A follow-up email is sent with a summary of what was discussed, as well as related demonstrations and relevant handouts with additional detail and explanation, if that fits your learning style.
A follow-up takes place in three to four days to confirm and clarify that things are going well and progress is being made. If not, adjustments can be made sooner rather than later.
